Featured Golf Courses
Atlantic City Country Club - Northfield, NJ
Architect: John Reid / Willie Park Jr. (1897); restored by Tom Doak
One of America’s most historic golf venues, ACCC was founded in 1897 and is celebrated as the birthplace of the term “birdie.” Set along the salt marshes with sweeping views of the Atlantic City skyline, this Troon-managed classic blends Golden Age architecture with modern precision. The short par-3 14th, playing across tidal flats toward the city, delivers one of the state’s most memorable tee shots and captures the essence of coastal New Jersey golf.
Seaview Golf Club (Bay Course) - Galloway, NJ
Architect: Donald Ross (1914)
Set in the peaceful countryside outside Statesboro, this course offers an inviting retreat framed by dense trees, gentle streams, and quiet natural beauty. It reflects the essence of southern charm, relaxed, scenic, and closely tied to the surrounding college community. For golfers seeking a calm, enjoyable round away from the coast, it’s a perfect escape into a wooded landscape.
Ballamor Golf Club - Egg Harbor Township, NJ
Architect: Brian Ault (2001)
Originally private and now one of New Jersey’s best public-access experiences, Ballamor delivers a tranquil parkland layout with wide corridors framed by mature pines and beautifully shaped greens. Impeccable conditioning and a smooth routing make it a refined complement to the coastal feel of ACCC and Seaview.
Plan Your Next Trip the Right Way
Insider Notes:
Best Playing Window: Early fall (late September–October) offers firm fairways, lighter winds, and fewer crowds. Late April–May is equally strong before summer humidity.
Pairing Rounds: ACCC and Seaview Bay are only 15 minutes apart, perfect for a “heritage-to-links” day. Ballamor works well as a stand-alone or relaxed afternoon round.
Warm-Up Notes: ACCC has one of New Jersey’s most scenic driving ranges overlooking the marsh and skyline. Seaview’s short-game area mirrors Ross’s green contours and is ideal for pre-round prep.
Non-Golf Diversions: Margate’s quieter beaches are only a short drive away and offer a peaceful break from the boardwalk.
Airport Access:
Atlantic City International (ACY): ~15 min to Seaview; ~20 min to ACCC and Ballamor.
Philadelphia International (PHL): ~1 hr 15 min via the Atlantic City Expressway.
Newark Liberty (EWR): ~2 hrs 15 min when arriving from the New York metro area.
Driving Times:
~1 hr from Philadelphia
~2 hrs 15 min from New York City
~3 hrs from Washington, DC
All courses are within a 10-mile radius, forming one of the most efficient “golf triangles” in the Mid-Atlantic.
